My Background I am Sicilian and Scottish, a daughter of islands, always surrounded by water. My Celtic ancestry is one of ancient medicinal practitioners and colorful characters. After spending my childhood in the wintry lands of Michigan, I decided to go South. I graduated from Loyola University, New Orleans in 1993 with a BA in Communications. After college, I moved to San Francisco where I pursued an interest in the healing arts. I studied with well known body/mind instructors and began teaching my own holistic movement class called NIA, Neuromuscular Integrative Action.. Healing Arts Education I am currently a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist. I practice Swedish massage, Shiatsu, Hot Stone Therapy, Reflexology, and Deep Tissue Therapy. My signature massage is The Vortex Touch, which transpired in Sedona, Arizona. The Vortex Touch is a combination of the best of Western and Eastern modalities; Swedish, Shiatsu, and Reflexology.
